Please note this article only applies to Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
For Windows Vista users:
Open Control Panel.
Click on User Accounts
Click Turn User Account Control on or off
In the "Turn on User Account Control (UAC) to make your computer more secure" section click the check box to deselect the "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer".
Click on the Ok button.
Restart your computer.
For Windows 7 & Windows 8 users:
Go to Control Panel to disable UAC in Windows 7 and Windows 8, there are several methods to access the User Account Control settings page:
Go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> User Accounts and Family Safety -> User Accounts
Go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> System and Security ->ActionCenter
Click or right click on Flag icon in notification area (system tray), and thenOpenActionCenter.
Type MsConfig in Start Search to start System Configuration, then go to Tools tab, select Change UAC Settings, then click on Launch button.
Click on User Account Control settings link.
Slide the slider bar to the lowest value (towards Never Notify), with description showing Never notify me.
