Panorama Donor Management tool sends various communications (emails) as a result of certain events, activities, or tasks that occur within the Donor Management tool. For each of these areas, you are able to customize the content of this communication.
You can search for templates by clicking the Search button in the upper right corner of the list. Each column will display a field or selector that allows you to limit the email templates in the list by the criteria you enter into the filter. For instance, if you enter “engagement” in the Name filter field, the list will refresh and the results in the list will only contain templates containing the word “engagement”. Clicking the Search button again will hide the filter options and return the original results of the list.
Click on the Edit link next to the name of a message that you want to modify.
In the main message area, type your desired message. You can also use the text formatting options to customize the look and feel of your message.
Use Merge Variables to insert customized information into the message. For example, use the <%FirstName%> field to insert the First Name field into the message.
Click the Send a test mail to me button to test the email. The email will be sent to your email address.
If you want to revert the changes back to the default message from the Donor Management tool, click the Restore Default button.
Click the Update button when you are done with your message.
