The Payment Features screen contains options each merchant can configure relating to their specific payment needs. For example, he/she can choose what cards to accept, whether to allow recurring payments and what convenience fees to charge.
One-Time Payment – This option allows a merchant to accept one-time payments via their FastTransact payment page. This option is defaulted on for all merchants.
Recurring Payments – This option allows a merchant to choose whether his/her consumers will have the ability to schedule payments on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis.
Future Payments – This option allows a merchant to choose whether his/her consumers will have the ability to schedule a one-time payment in the future. When this option is selected the merchant must configure how far in advance he/she will allow a future payment (up to 365 days). Note – This ability to offer future payments is subject to Risk guidelines and may not be available to all merchants.
Allow Anonymous Donations – this option allows the merchant to accept donations from anonymous donors, where no information is captured during the payment process for the merchant other than the payment amount, payment method, and date.
Allow Tribute Donations - This option allows a merchant to give a consumer the ability to make a donation in honor of or in memory of someone else. Once selected the merchant also has the ability to offer consumer notifications via email, physical mail or no notification at all.
