Let's Learn:
If you or your donors are receiving multiple unexpected password reset emails from Panorama, this article explains why it happens and how to stop it.
Why Multiple Reset Emails Happen
Multiple password reset emails are almost always caused by one of the following:
Repeated form submissions: A user clicked "Forgot Password" multiple times before the first email arrived, generating one reset link per click.
Browser autofill or saved form submission: Some browsers re-submit forms on page reload. If the password reset page was refreshed, multiple requests may have been sent.
Automated scanning or bot activity: Security scanners or spam bots occasionally submit login forms. The reset links they generate are harmless — each link can only be used once and expires after 24 hours.
Note: In some cases, the issue may also occur if the user clicks the “Reset Password” link again from the original reset email while attempting to log in. This link is designed for single use only. If it is clicked again, it can reopen the password reset flow and create the impression that another reset is required.
What to Do
If you just want to reset your password: Use the most recent email — it has the only active link. Earlier links from the same session are automatically invalidated when a new one is generated.
If your donors are receiving unexpected reset emails they didn't request: This is a known intermittent issue being investigated. The emails are safe and the links expire unused. Advise donors to ignore them and use their existing password. If the emails continue daily, contact support with the affected email address and the approximate dates the emails started.
If you can't log in even after resetting: Make sure you're using the reset link from the most recent email — older links are expired. If the link shows as expired immediately, your browser may be caching an old session. Try opening the link in a private/incognito window.
After resetting your password:

Common Questions
Q: Is my account compromised if I received unexpected reset emails?
A: No. Receiving a reset email only means someone (or a bot) entered your email address on the forgot-password form. It does not mean anyone accessed your account. Your password has not changed unless you clicked the link and set a new one.
Q: How do I stop getting these emails?
A: If you're receiving ongoing unsolicited resets, contact support so we can flag the account and investigate whether bot activity is targeting your email address.
