What is the difference between workplace and public campaigns in Campaign Management?

Workplace campaigns are designed for employees of a company.  Employees are given a pre-registered username and password or use SSO to access the website and make a pledge. Public campaigns are designed for public use. Public campaigns require the user to register before logging in and making a donation on the site.
