What are Campaign Special Events in Campaign Management?

Sometimes organizations will have the need to record money raised through special events in their campaign. Special Events provide you the ability to easily record your special event dollars.

Special Events provides options to group event dollars by Coordinator Level, Company Level, Functional Level, as well as by Donor Group. When a Special Event is associated with a Coordinator Level, the Special Event dollars will display to the coordinator on the dashboard.

Note: Special event dollars are not counted towards the campaign totals or pledge bar amounts. Donation goal adjustments may be used to include the special event dollars on your pledge bars. Donation goal adjustments may be made on the Campaign Settings page for the overall campaign pledge bar, or on the Donor Group Settings page for donor group related pledge bars.
