The Artez Platform has 2 address validation Integrations:
Loqate (formally Post Code Anywhere)and QAS
Loqate (formally Post Code Anywhere) Address Search
We have added integration with Loqate (formally Post Code Anywhere). This is an address lookup service where users will see a list of matching addresses to select as they start typing their street address or postal code. To enable this feature, your organization must sign up with Loqate (formally Post Code Anywhere) and enter your account credentials into Artez.
To Enable Post Code Anywhere in Artez:
- Navigate to Configuration Tab >> Address Validation >> Loqate (formally Post Code Anywhere)
- Click Enable and enter your Organization’s Authentication Key
Once Loqate (formally Post Code Anywhere) has been enabled for your Organization, it will also need to also be enabled per Event.
- Navigate to Event >> Event Settings
- Under General, enable the following setting: Enable Loqate (formally Post Code Anywhere) Address Validation
This enables Post Code Anywhere on all Artez Event pages that require an address. The address fields will be replaced with one search bar where you can begin typing the postal code or the address. There is also an option to enter the address manually if desired.
Once you begin to type, Post Code Anywhere will begin to search for a matching address. The Country can be changed by clicking the Flag beside Change Country. The default Country will be the Default Country set in the Event Information.
When an address is selected from the list, the address fields will be automatically populated with the address details.
QAS Address Validation
If you have an account with QAS (www.qas.com), you can enable it within the FrontStream platform. Address Verification enables donors and registrants to validate their own addresses before submitting their details. If they provide an incomplete or incorrect address, the system will suggest alternative addresses. If enabled, this validation will occur on any page where users are prompted to enter an address.
Tip: The steps below enable address verification for your organization. You must also enable it for each event that will use this feature. By default, address verification is turned off for each event. You can enable address verification for an event using Event Settings on the Events tab.
Step 1 Click the Configuration Tab
Select QAS Address Validation
Step 2 Enable QAS
- To enable address verification, click Enable.
- Beside Deployment Number and Account Password, type the ID and password required to access your address verification account.
Tip: It is important to review the Address Validation Log periodically for two reasons. The first is to make sure that the organization is being charged appropriately by QAS. The second is to monitor whether suggested corrections are being used when they are proposed to registrants and donors.
Click Submit.
