Summary
As part of our commitment to continuously update and enhance our Fundraising system, we recently made the following enhancements to the Artez Application:

Description:
As an org, I can now enable an approval step during registration to determine who can participate on the event.

Details:
We can now control who can participate in our event by enabling the new setting to have an approval stage where the admin can decide who to allow to register.
When registering, the participant will follow the usual steps and will be held in pending status just before reaching the Checkout Page. At this stage, they will be directed to a new page, which will inform them to await further instructions. On the administrator's side, a new tab labeled "Approval Requests" under the Relationships menu will be accessible, allowing them to review and approve participants. Once approved, participants can log in to the event and finalize their registration.
Here’s a walkthrough of the process of enabling this new setting:
1. On the admin console, a new setting will be displayed. You will need to enable the checkbox and save the event settings to have this ability on your event.
2. Once enabled, after the Registrant selects the Location, Participation Type, and Registration Type and fills the Contact Information form when clicking the “Continue” button on the Contact Information page they will see a page with this message:
3. The admin can log into the Admin Console and approve all the participants that are currently pending:
4. Once approved they will need to log in to the event and complete the registration.
Some additional notes:
- This applies to Artez P2P only
- Available for both English and French events
- Once enabled, it cannot be disabled
- This setting is disabled by default
- On the Approval Request tab, you can filter by Name, Lastname, email, and/or by event
Additional Items
- Added on Artez P2P a new error message to notify the participant when the Location date has expired and is no longer available for registration.
- Fixed the Purchase Item Report where it was showing the purchase order date as 1/1/1900.
- Fixed the Reconciliation Report that was missing the Location Export ID.
- Fixed on Artez P2P the Spinning Wheel when Choosing a User from the Homepage Search.
