Summary

As part of our commitment to continuously update and enhance our Fundraising system, we recently made the following enhancements to the Artez Application:

• P2P – Added Event Home Page Donate Button for Location-Based Participant & Team Fundraising
• Data Entry - Added Search by First Name

P2P - Added Event Home Page Donate Button for Location-Based Participant & Team Fundraising

This enhancement enables organizations to display and use the Donate button on the P2P Event Home Page, including the Header, Hero, and Call-to-Action sections, without enabling Direct Donations at the event level. When Direct Donations to Locations are enabled, the Donate button provides access exclusively to participant and team fundraising flows within the selected location.

The donation form does not allow direct donations to the event or to the location itself. Instead, donors are guided to contribute only to participants and/or teams, based on the event’s configuration. This ensures that the existing fundraising structure remains unchanged while expanding access to participant- and team-level donation options.

• Donate buttons are displayed only when Direct Donations to Locations are enabled.
• Direct donations to the location itself are not supported.
• Applies to P2P events only.

How to enable Donate button for location-based participant and team fundraising

1. Navigate to the Event Settings of the event.
2. Keep Direct Donations disabled at the event level.
3. Enable Direct Donations to Locations.
4. Save the changes.  Confirm that the Donate buttons in the Header, Hero, and CTA are enabled in the Event Builder.

Data Entry - Added Search by First Name

This enhancement expands the Data Entry search capabilities by allowing Admins to search participants using their first name, in addition to existing search criteria. This is particularly useful when working with participants who share common last names, making it easier to quickly identify the correct one. The search behavior aligns with the existing logic used in Relationship searches, providing a consistent and intuitive experience across the Admin Console.

• Emails - Added Page Name as a new keyword for the “Thank You – Solicited Donation” email
• P2P - Removed the $0 amount from the contact information page when the registration fees are $0 and family/friends registration is enabled.
• P2P - Fixed issue where event cash lump sum payments were not showing on the message board.
• Purchase - Fixed issue where the purchase confirmation email style was not applied for the Purchase Item list.
• P2P - Fixed issue where the Location widget text was not saving.
• P2P - Fixed issue where online donations made to participants were not appearing in the Fundraising Hub donation list for P2P events.
• P2P - Fixed . the issue where Direct Donations were being incorrectly tagged as anonymous in Donor Management.
