Q: When will I be charged for my Purchase / Winning Bid?
A: None of our payments are processed automatically. In order to have your Card charged, The Organization hosting the Auction will be the one confirming your Purchase/Bid and then processing the Card. This can take them some time depending on the size of the auction. If they have not charged your card in a reasonable amount of time, we suggest contacting them by following this help article.
Q: I Purchased / Won an item but have not recieved it, what should I do?
A: For assistance with this issue, you will need to contact the Organization.
There is a system email notifying you of winning an item that will have the email address:
NameofOrganization@biddingforgood.com
Please note that this email address will not receive replies. Any reply or email to these email addresses will not be delivered.
Please note that the only way for a Organization to receive a notice from you is by following this help article.
Q: I am being told my Card is failing when the Organization is attempting to charge my Card, what should I do?
A: First, make sure you have followed the directions here on how to update your Purchase with the new card information. Make sure to follow the "For a Purchase" directions.
B: If your Credit Card fails repeatedly when they are attempting to process, It could be your card company denying the transaction. Credit Card Companies have gotten very strict on security and could be blocking the purchase. If the Card repeatedly fails, We suggest reaching out to your Card Company/Bank to allow the charge to go through. The Organizations hosting their Auctions will use one of the following Payment Processors:
- Stripe
- Frontstream Global Fund
- iATS
The charge will typically have one or more of the following within it on the statement or under pending:
- The name of the Payment Processor
- The name Bidding For Good
- The name Of the Organization
You can then provide this information to your Card Company or Bank in order to allow the charge to go through.
If you still have issues getting the payment to go through, please contact the Organization.
