How to Exclude Alcohol Auction Items from Frontstream Global Fund Processing (California accounts only)

As an admin of a non-profit based in California, if your auction is being processed by Frontstream Global Fund (FGF), you can now mark alcohol auction items to be excluded from the 5% auction item transaction fees.  

Step 1: Create an item

Step 2: Click on the "The winner of this item will receive one or more bottles of wine or other packaged alcohol." checkbox.  

• This checkbox should be checked for packaged alcohol items including wine, cases of beer, liquor bottles, etc. but not for wine-related items like a winery tour. 
• All marked items will be reviewed by FrontStream. 
• Credit card processing fees will still be applied. 
• This feature is only available for items - it does not apply to tickets, quick sales or donations.

Important Note!

When using this feature, if your organization has also enabled the Bidder Pays the Fee feature, and a bidder opts into covering the fee for an alcoholic item, your bidders will only be charged the 2.5% credit card processing fee if paying via credit card. If their payment method is not a credit card, the built-in credit card percentage of 2.5% will be removed from the total funds calculated for processing fees.
