How to Purchase Buy Now Items (New BFG UI)

Step 1: From the auction homepage, click Items.

Step 2: Choose the item you wish to purchase from the item list.

Good to Know: With the updated BiddingForGood interface, buyers can purchase Buy Now items without signing in to a bidder account.

Step 3: Click the Buy Now Button to proceed with the purchase.
The button displays the Buy Now amount for the item.

• If not signed in: The system will proceed to the payment form without requiring login.

• If signed in: The purchase will continue using the logged-in account.

Step 4: Complete the Payment

After clicking Buy, the embedded payment form will appear. Buyers can choose from three payment methods:

• Credit Card

• Apple Pay

• Google Pay

Buyers can also opt in to cover the processing fee.

Selecting the Cover the fee checkbox will display the additional fee that will be applied on top of the Buy Now price.

Payment via Credit Card 

If the purchaser is logged in:

• The credit card already saved on their bidder account will automatically appear as an available payment option.

• To use the saved card, the bidder simply checks the box next to the card and enters the CVV.

• They may still also choose Add a new card if they prefer to use a different one.

If the purchaser is NOT logged in:

• They will be asked to enter their personal contact information before completing the credit card payment.
