Guest Check In is the best way to check in your guests during a Mobile Event. It allows you and your team to:
- Quickly check in guests who have already registered as bidders and register those who have not.
- Update payment or contact information.
- Provide the guest with their assigned Bidder Number if needed.
- Provide the guest with their assigned Table (if the Table Seating feature was used).
- Text the guest the link to the mobile bidding site so they can start bidding right away.
Step 1: You can find the Guest Check In screen under Event > Live Event > Guest Check In.
Step 2: Your organization's team will edit the auto-populated access value code that is provide or create new access codes for your volunteers.
Please Note: The access value codes are only functional during the dates and times it is set for.
Step 3: Once the code has been created your organization will access the guest check-in dashboard but clicking on the auto-populated URL:
Step 4: Your team will access the guest check-in URL and plug in the access value code that is to be used:
Step 5: The organization's team will access the guest check-in dashboard once they have entered the code and click sign in:
Once your organization's team has accessed the guest check-in dashboard it will show all guest associated with the live event and provide the functionality to check the guest in as they arrive to the event.
PRO TIP: If a guest of a guest, meaning a guest who purchased the tickets for a group of people (i.e., husband and wife or a sponsorship ticket sale package etc...) more than likely will NOT have a form of payment associated to their guest profile unless they are already registered bidder with BiddingforGood.
The guest check-in dashboard has the functionality to register guest of guest at the time of guest check-in, manually, if needed.
This can be done by checking in the guest of the guest (if they are associated with the event as a guest already) or you can use the "add guest" functionality which will allow the functionality to add the guest to your event and ask your team to provide the required guest information and manually enter the guest Credit Card information if the guest is choosing to participate in bidding and donating at the event.
When the "Add Credit Card" button is clicked it will direct you to the credit card screen for your team to associate the CC with the guest that is being checked in:
By clicking the "Check In Guest" button this will update your event and associate the guest that was added and checked in manually.
If a guest is being checked in and they have a Credit Card associated to their guest account, then clicking the Check In Guest button is all that needs to be done.

PLEASE NOTE: There are some steps in order for your organization to be approved for mobile, including doing a connectivity assessment of your venue. We offer night-of-event support that can be extremely valuable in running a successful event and the support must be booked at least 30 days in advance. If support is not provided by Frontstream's BiddingforGood team for your live event your organization is liable for any issues that may arise.
